Wedding Hairstyles

We have all thought of what kind of hairstyle we want for the day of our wedding, BUT do we really know what it's going to look like? Making an appointment with a stylist for a hair trial is always very important so that you know what to expect on the day of your wedding. However, narrowing it down before seeing your stylist is also important. Click on the link below to upload your image into the system to try all sorts of hairstyles. It's not a perfect representation of what you will look like on the day but it does help to give you and your stylist an idea. You'll need to create a free account to use this tool but you can also get updates and other information from theweddingchannel.com.

Cake Pop Wedding Cakes and Favors

There's a new cake in town and it's the cake pop! Well, not one cake exactly but many little cakes. This is a great alternative to a more traditional wedding cake. Why? Well it allows for just a taste of the wedding cake (for those who have included dessert in the dinner menu) and they are relatively easy to make and inexpensive. Ask your cake designer to make cake pops with a special flavor in mind, or download a recipe and make them yourself! Just use styrofoam or a plant based material (greener option) to pierce the ends of the pops into. Click here for some great cake pop recipes!  http://www.cakepopsrecipe.com/

Seating Charts

For intimate weddings using a chalk board for a seating chart can be a unique and inexpensive way to show your guests to their seats. Incorporating your wedding colors into the chart can help to tie the decor together. Have someone with close to perfect hand writing make the chart a few days before your wedding.

For outdoor weddings, these seating charts add a fun and unique way for your guests to determine their seat. Just make sure to use materials that will hold up to the elements in your area.
